|Tenth anniversary of the 14th episode of Sonic X airing in the United States on December 6, 2003. It's a very special episode for me.|
I've had thoughts about Sonic being on the FoxBox when my brother told me that "Sonic X" would be premiering on the FoxBox in the Fall of 2003. I was in disbelief. I don't think "Sonic X" ever made an appearance on Cartoon Network despite rumors that it would be on.
Even so, ten years after Sonic X premiered on the FoxBox, I now heard Sonic will, at last, make his long overdue debut on Cartoon Network in a series called "Sonic Boom." "Sonic Boom," which shares the name of the theme of the US version of Sonic CD, will also be Sonic's first offical computer animated TV series. Fans will have to wait another year, however, before "Sonic Boom" premieres in the fall of 2014. My biggest disappointment, however, is that the series is aimed for kids who are only six to eleven years old. So, for Sonic fans who are in their twenties like I am, I am not too sure whether or not you're better off watching episodes on YouTube in the privacy of your own room.
Anyway, here's the full story as well as a teaser pic.
