Description

Along with a new Sonderpreis (Special Prize), there's also a Surprise wedge designated by a question mark. Unlike the Sonderpreis wedge, the Surprise is not mentioned until landed on (as opposed to being announced after a US player in possession of the Surprise wedge solves a puzzle without hitting any Bankrupts before the fact). Just like I believe with the Sonderpreis, you must solve the puzzle without going Bankrupt in order to win the Surprise. While the prize is being mentioned, the Surprise space is replaced by a DM 200 space (as opposed to a DM 150 space replacing the Sonderpreis wedge).

The lightning-bolt shaped arrow is the Risiko (risk) space. If you landed on it, you wagered any or all of your round winnings on a trivia question. If you were right, you added what you risked to your total and called any letter (consonant or vowel) that was in the puzzle for that same amount per occurrence (this rule was ultimately dropped by 1998). If you answered the question incorrectly, you lost what you risked and, presumably, your turn. If you landed on the wedge with no money to risk, you immediately lost your turn.

DM 2000 is the top value. There is no SKL space this round.
