My Wheel of Fortune Contestant Backdrops

This is actually what I spent most of yesterday (August 17, 2014) doing while watching Foresnic Files episodes - making the diamond backdrops for use with my Wheel of Fortune model. My biggest problem was finding a way to make them stand up on their own properly. Yet, while using spare cardboard to put the towers together, I discovered that making a wing-like base would probably do the trick. It did. After taping some small cardboard pieces to the bottom of the wings, I was able to make the towers stand straight up.

While taking this photo, I had them laid down on my kitchen table just so it would be just the towers that would be seen.

I am very proud of how they look - simple yet authentic. What do you think?
