Remember those conceptual layouts I made based off of the 1973 Shopper's Bazaar pilot back in 2012? Shopper's Bazaar Round 3 Concept by germanname Shopper's Bazaar Round 4 Concept by germanname

Well, an idea popped into my mind last night about making some layouts based off of the 1974 Wheel of Fortune pilots hosted by Edd "Kookie" Byrnes.

Around the time I learned of all the layouts used in Shopper's Bazaar, the original title of Wheel of Fortune, in the late summer of 2012, wheelgenius and I finally learned all four of the layouts used in the 1974 Wheel of Fortune pilots.

The first thing I noticed after seeing all of these layouts was how everything was arranged.

All of the non-cash spaces were kept as equal of a distance from each other as possible. The number of these spaces started at three and increased by one every round.
The largest values were clockwise of Bankrupt while the smallest values were counterclockwise of Bankrupt.
The second largest values were clockwise of Lose A Turn and the second smallest values were counterclockwise of Lose A Turn.
The smallest values after the ones adjacent to the penalty wedges surrounded the Buy A Vowel and Free Spin spaces.

Oddly, the smallest value for Round 3 increased from $50 in Round 2 to $100 only to decrease back down to $50 in Round 4. In my viewpoint, $50 should've remained the smallest value for Round 3 and then double to $100 for Round 4. If this happened, $850 would've certainly had a shot at being a pilot value.

So with that said, what if there was a Round 5 and Round 6? Well, here's my concept of a Round 5 layout. There are now three Lose A Turns. The smallest value is $200 while the top dollar value is $1500. $850 and $950 finally make their appearance. The total dollar value on this Wheel is an astonishing $10,700!
